Connect a custom domain to a Findability website
The safe sequence for connecting a customer domain.
Steps
- 01Confirm the website is ready for domain connection.
- 02Add the domain in the Findability/Editor domain workflow when available.
- 03Follow the DNS values provided for the specific hostname.
- 04Wait for DNS detection.
- 05Allow Findability to activate SSL and confirm the connected state.
- 06Set the intended primary domain only after the connection is working.
Important checks
+ Do not guess DNS values from another customer's setup.
+ For apex/root domains, the required record can differ from a www/subdomain connection.
